APPLIWEB is licensed under a double license.
1. API Interface is LGPL (Lesser Gnu Public License V3)
2. Implementation is GPL
What can I do with these licenses ?
GPL means you can use but not sell an application that uses or include APPLIWEB. That is, you cannot sell another version of APPLIWEB, unless you use the same GPL license of your version (and give it’s source code) However, any application developed with APPLIWEB can be freely distributed and sold.
If you want to modify, write a plugin or resell an application or tools containing APPLIWEB without giving source code, then you need to buy the commercial license that comes with the Enterprise Edition.
If I need a special feature ?
Moreover, we would be happy to develop special plugins adapted to your business needs. These plugins can then be open sourced or you can retain copyright on them.
